Sancure™ 20041   Polyurethane Dispersion

High Performance, Aliphatic Polyester PUD

Sancure™ 20041 is a high-performance aliphatic polyurethane dispersion that has been specifically developed to match the properties of high-performance polyurethane dispersions and to meet VOC regulations (<275 grams/liter VOC). Sancure™ 20041 polymer produces tough, clear, high gloss films with outstanding chemical and abrasion resistance at lower VOC levels than traditional high performance polyurethane dispersions. This polymer can be crosslinked with a water-dispersible aliphatic polyisocyanate or aziridine to maximize performance properties such as mar & scuff resistance. Good film formation can be achieved with Sancure 20041 using coalescing agents such as dipropylene glycol methyl ether (ARCOSOLV® DPM) at 25% on resin solids for isocyanate crosslinked coatings, or 30% on resin solids for 1K or aziridine crosslinked coatings.
