Focus: Carole develops new products and applications for hair and scalp care, devising formulations that deliver the benefits customers want. She also advises on what claims customers can make about products.
Recent accomplishment: Carole helped a customer build a complete line of ethnic hair care products, using primarily Lubrizol Life Science – Beauty ingredients. In addition to formulating the products, LLS Beauty is manufacturing the products as well. “It’s very satisfying to see the products you develop make their way onto shelves,” Carole said.
Quote: “R&D is never easy and it never works the first time, but I never give up. I am very stubborn that way. You have to have a drive to say, ‘I’m going to look at another approach and I’m going to make it work.’”
