Focus: Broad experience in developing cosmetic formulations. Specializes in moisturizing emulsions and suncare formulations. Helps assess the performance of natural polymers in emulsions against synthetic polymers. The former university professor is author of the textbook, “Cosmetology Applied to Dermoesthetics,” which can also be found in Brazilian cosmetology labs.
Recent accomplishments: Developed a methodology for evaluating the solubility of UV filters in emollients. Created a new dermocosmetic emulsion base for compounding pharmacies. Finishing work on a new moisturizing ingredient.
