Sustainability Spotlight

Lipotec™’s LUMICEASE™ blue ingredient is derived from a radiation-resistant microorganism that lives in the mountains of Spain.  By using Lipotec’s unique Biointec Fermentation process, the microorganism can be grown in the lab, avoiding disruption to the biodiversity of its natural environment.  Lubrizol’s commitment to the preservation of the natural environment goes one step further, through a collaboration with an NGO dedicated to the conservation of the aquatic ecosystem where the microorganism is found.
