Title: Asia-Pacific Technical Manager, Beauty & Home
Years with Lubrizol: 11 years
Location: Shanghai, China
Education: Master’s degree in Agrochemistry and a bachelor’s degree in Botanical Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Years of experience: 16 years
Focus: Susie works with global and regional multidisciplinary teams to investigate and allocate resources for new technologies and materials for Lubrizol’s Beauty and Home customers. In addition to her current role, Susie also works within the company as a skincare application development scientist and technical service manager for Greater China and Korea. She has extensive knowledge and experience in skincare, personal care and home care technology development and troubleshooting.
Recent accomplishments: Susie led the local Asia-Pacific new product innovation and launch for Schercemol™ DIS ester localization and the Electro-Rite® ALT08 polymer development for the alkaline battery market. She was also involved with sales tool development for skin, sun and makeup remover markets. She was a presenter at the May 2023 ASCC Conference workshop on the topic of Conscious Beauty – Breaking Barriers with the New Normal.
