Skin cream created for healthcare workers now available for brands

A restoring skin cream for hands and face created specifically for healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic is now available for brand portfolios.

To repair and protect the dry, chapped hands and irritated facial skin of healthcare workers Lubrizol Life Science (LLS) this spring created a special cream. LLS donated more than 10,000 jars of the cream to over 70 healthcare institutions around the globe and the cream has performed well under the most demanding circumstances.

The unmatched formula includes some of LLS’ most effective ingredients:

  • Antarcticine® marine ingredient for its rejuvenating, cryoprotective, restructuring and moisturizing properties
  • Delisens™ peptide to reduce skin inflammation, discomfort and itching and restore cutaneous barrier functions
  • Fensebiome™ peptide to reinforce the skin microbiome and physical barrier while preventing dehydration
  • Lipomoist™ 2013 CPE molecular film to enhance moisturization and help active ingredients penetrate more efficiently

Because of the urgent need for the cream, LLS turned to its Accelerator Program, which has the expertise in all areas of product development to produce it quickly. Brands can now enjoy the results of that expertise by putting their own labels on this remarkable cream.

And to honor those who continue to treat COVID-19 victims, LLS pledges to donate one unit of the restoring skin cream for hands and face to a hospital for each unit ordered by a brand.
