At the time of purchase in 2012, we enhanced our existing personal care portfolio of formulated skin care solutions with the high-performance active ingredients Lipotec™ specializes in, including their well-known anti-aging peptide, Argireline®. As a result, it strengthened our offering of claims-driven, technology-focused solutions to marketers of formulated skin care products. The acquisition also further developed our speed-to-market capabilities with an Accelerator Program.
Today, Lipotec™ is the umbrella brand for active ingredients within Lubrizol Life Science – Beauty (LLS Beauty), expanding beyond skin care into color cosmetics, hair care, scalp care and even rinse-off formulated solutions. This expansion, combined with LLS Beauty’s anticipation of consumer needs, while prioritizing innovation and sustainability, has resulted in innovative ingredient solutions designed to enhance functional performance and deliver aesthetic benefits that help people to live a more beautiful life. Our Accelerator Program is also known for enabling brands to go from concept briefing to custom shelf-ready products at surprising speeds.
