Myflam™ 8204 has been specifically designed for the coating of polyester and other substrates for blackout window blinds. Myflam™ 8204 is particularly suitable where DecaBDE (CAS 1163-19-5) also referred to as DBDPO is not acceptable. When the compound is correctly applied by a crushed foam technique, the fabric would be expected to achieve FR performance according to: DIN 4102 B1 Rating BS 5867 Part 2 1980. Myflam™8204 is a FR compound formulated for polyester substrates intended for window blind constructions. It is ideally applied using a crushed foam coating technique at 60gsm ‘single’ or ‘multiple’ coats to produce blackout coatings
