Durability: Compared to rigid polymers, the final product is more durable and can be dropped and tossed with reduced damage risk, making it great for industrial settings.

Improved processability: Our material shows very good unpacking properties, and it is easy to process, including when high temperature resistance is required.

Success story: Controller Housing Fixture

In this case, Avid Product Development worked on one of the components for a controller housing fixture. The customer needed to install heat inserts, but the part's complex surface geometry made it hard to hold steady. Thanks to the design of Avid’s engineering team, this fixture is able to hold the part securely, solving the problem.

The part is printed on an HP MJF 5200 series printer using ESTANE^® 3D TPU M88A solution.
