The recently completed expansion of our U.S. Medical Device Design Center in Corona, California, represents the next phase of this commitment.

Strategically located in Southern California, in proximity to our customers and to other technology hubs, the U.S. Medical Device Design Center’s significant expansion brings the facility to 56,000 square feet, including additional ISO-7 cleanroom space, a pilot test lab to promote collaboration, and extensive testing laboratories.

Medical Device Increased Capabilities

The expansion also includes space for future development and production capabilities as well as additional manufacturing cleanroom space.

The expansion strengthens our global design and development capabilities, enabling us to solve our customers’ toughest challenges. Under the leadership of 35-year industry veteran Eric Mabry, the Corona facility not only mirrors and complements the capabilities of our design and development center near Munich, Germany, but further leverages our precision extrusion and catheter shaft expertise of the Corona facility. Across the two sites, our dedicated design and development team includes more than 35 engineers and technicians with a combined total of over 425 years of experience with more than 85 patents.
