Humectant GRB4 is a low VOC humectant which improves tip drying, open time and redispersibility of agglomerates in water-based pigment pastes, coatings and inks. It offers a much lower VOC and sVOC alternative to traditional glycols. It can improve freeze/thaw stability of coatings, as well as improving color strength of dispersions.
