Our global supply chain serves all Lubrizol business units. We work with our supplier to create a supply chain that is built on shared responsibility and trust. We partner with our suppliers, especially our more than 100 Tier I suppliers, on a variety of activities including transportation and logistics, sustainable sourcing, business continuity and risk management. Supplier selection and engagement are highly dependent on legal and ethical conduct, reliability, and continuous improvement.

 102-11 Precautionary Principle or approach  Not applicable The Lubrizol Corporation is not currently a signatory to the UN Global Compact, and we do not specifically apply the Precautionary Principle or approach as defined by the United Nations. However, we have a strong culture of reporting and transparency, and utilize a conservative, risk-based approach to any decision-making that relates to health, safety and environmental factors. We also aim to comply with all applicable standards, and our company has signed on to the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care® Global Charter, which affirms our commitment to apply Responsible Care principles and expectations globally. All of these efforts give us a high degree of confidence that we are taking the appropriate precautions in protecting health, safety and the environment.
