New Report Spotlights Company’s Forward-Looking Approach Alongside Its Commitment to Sustainability

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Lubrizol today announced the release of its 2020 Corporate Report, highlighting the company’s mission to help the world Move Cleaner, Create Smarter and Live Better. This mission is tied to bold goals that further the company’s longstanding commitment to sustainability. The report, which includes the Company’s sustainability disclosures, is available online at

The report also addresses the value of sustainability as a vital driver to the long-term health and growth of the organization.

We have great opportunities to reduce vehicle emissions, enable circularity, and improve lives for billions of consumers. We have invested billions of dollars in innovation across these areas in the past decade, and we plan to continue that investment in the decade ahead.”

In addition to reporting on Lubrizol’s sustainability progress, Lubrizol introduces several new bold goals, including:

  • Helping enable a more than 50% reduction in vehicle emissions by 2040 (based on total car park 2020 vs. 2040);
  • Ensure 25% more products in our portfolio that meet one or more circularity characteristics;
  • Improving at least 2 billion lives by 2028 – through solutions for health, beauty, cleanliness, wellness and fitness;
  • Increasing the percentage of women in senior leadership roles to 46% by 2023; and
  • Assisting at least 2,028,000 individuals globally by 2028 through corporate philanthropy and support for employee volunteering.
