The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) announced an update to its Oil Sequences for Light-Duty engines.

Key changes in the 2023 light-duty update, which add on to changes announced in ACEA’s 2021 light-duty update, include: Reintroduction of the OM646LA wear test to legacy categories.
Addition of a new ACEA C7 category.
