Acrylic Colloidal Dispersion

Carboset® GA-1594 is a colloidal dispersion of an acrylic polymer. It is a hard, all acrylic polymer with excellent pigment wetting properties. Carboset GA-1594 resin has demonstrated excellent non-gassing properties with treated metallic pigments. Carboset GA-1594 resin can be crosslinked with melamines to provide high gloss permanent coatings with excellent stain resistance properties. Carboset GA-1594 resin has very good flow and leveling properties and is neutralized with DMEA, making it a superior choice for bake systems. This polymer can be used in spray, flow coat or dip finishes. Typical coatings produced with Carboset GA-1594 resin can achieve a VOC of 150 grams/liter or less.
