Carboset® CR 7162E is an APEO-free thermoplastic styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion designed for air dry or force dry applications. Carboset® CR 7162E resin was engineered to provide optimal performance in corrosion resistance, humidity, gloss and adhesion properties. Carboset® CR 7162E resin also displays excellent adhesion to a variety of plastics and metal substrates. Applications include maintenance primers and topcoats, DIY gloss and semi-gloss enamels, masonry waterproofers and stain blocking primers. Carboset® CR 7162E resin is readily coalesced with both E-Series and P-Series glycol ethers for formulating latitude.
