Corrosion can occur in metal fire sprinkler systems faster than you think. Within just a few years, corrosion can appear. Research shows that 35% of wet systems have significant corrosion at 25 years.

The result? Danger. FM Approvals show that corrosion is the fourthmost common cause of losses due to sprinkler leakage. Worse, corrosion can clog sprinkler heads and restrict water flow during a fire. BlazeMaster® CPVC pipe will remain corrosion free for its lifetime.

BlazeMaster Listings, Approvals and Applications

BlazeMaster® CPVC Fire Protection Systems have proven themselves for more than 30 years. They are approved for commercial light hazard applications, such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools and highrise office buildings, as well as single and multi-family residential use.

Nitrogen Systems

Nitrogen systems can halt corrosion in metal pipes, but cost up to $40,000, depending on the size of the building. BlazeMaster® pipe doesn’t corrode or require costly nitrogen treatment.

Inspections

The National Fire Protection Association requires metal pipe be inspected internally on a regular basis; BlazeMaster® pipe does not have be inspected internally.
