CONTRAM™ OF-G Industrial Bactericide

Fast-acting amine-free tankside performance

CONTRAM™ OF-G is a highly concentrated industrial bactericide based on (ethylenedioxy) dimethanol, an extremely effective anti-bacterial compound for use in aqueous metalworking fluids. This product offers fast-acting performance to maintain bacteria growth control and eliminate problematic bacteria contamination of in-use metalworking fluid dilutions. CONTRAM OF-G is proven to be highly effective against a wide variety of bacteria.

Biocidal Efficacy

CONTRAM OF-G has demonstrated efficacy against a wide variety of bacteria, including the following typical metalworking fluid spoilage organisms:

Acremonium spec.
Candida albicans
Escherichia coli
Fusarium spec.
Klebsiella aerogenes
Legionella pneumophila
Mycobacterium immunogenum
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Pseudomonas fluorescens
Pseudomonas putida
Staphylococcus aureus

Recommended Use Directions

CONTRAM OF-G is primarily recommended for tankside treatments to in-use metalworking fluid dilutions.

For tankside application, 1,000-2,000 ppm (0.10-0.20%) CONTRAM OF-G should be added based on the total diluted fluid volume.

Application of CONTRAM OF-G in metalworking fluid concentrates can also be considered, particularly in situations where a completely amine-free formulation is desired. Concentrate treat rates should be adjusted to deliver 1,000-2,000 ppm CONTRAM OF-G in the final working dilution.
