Sulfochem™ B-298K Surfactant Blend

Sulfochem™ B-298K surfactant blend is a pearlescent shampoo base formulated to yield a rich shampoo with the addition of fragrance, preservative and water.  Sulfochem B-298K surfactant blend is ideally suited as a base for a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo; just add conditioning and/or protecting additives to a normal dilution of the concentrate. Fragrance is best incorporated prior to dilution.

Viscosity can be adjusted with the addition of sodium chloride or by modification of the Sulfochem B-298K surfactant blend/water ratio. Typically, viscosities as high as 10,000 cps may be achieved with a dilution of 35% to 65% water. The pH adjustment can be made with citric acid to the desired pH.
