Schercomid™ CDO-Extra fatty acid diethanolamide is an economical thickener and foam stabilizer for many types of cosmetic and cleansing formulations.
Schercomid CDO-Extra Fatty Acid Diethanolamide provides good detergency and wetting action. Small amounts of builders such as condensed phosphates and silicates can also be incorporated into cleansing formulations. The free diethanolamine content is available for use with fatty acids and sulfonic acids as modifying agents to convert the material to liquid detergents of high activity.
Excellent cleansers for industrial and household use can be formulated with the help of this soil suspending and foam boosting additive. These include products for scouring, rug and floor cleaners, dishwashing and personal care formulations.
Schercomid CDO-Extra fatty acid diethanolamide is soluble in water. A 10% solution has a medium viscosity and practically no odor.
