Fixomer™ A-30 polymer is a unique copolymer that provides benefits in hair and skin care applications. Fixomer A-30 polymer is composed of Methacrylic acid/Sodium acrylamidomethyl propane sulfonate copolymer, offering a strong hold in high humidity environments while maintaining a soft, silky and naturally dry hair feel. It is also highly compatible with Carbopol® homopolymers for clear formulations.
In shampoos, Fixomer A-30 polymer contributes a luxurious, silky feel to lather, and does not cause build up typical with styling products. In skin care products, it reduces tacky afterfeel and wetness, improving spreadability in creams and lotions. It also increases slipperiness and lather thickness of liquid cleansing products, and enhances skin smoothness.
