Jeff Crume

New to Lubrizol, Account Manager, Personal and Home Care North America Jeff Crume has worked in the personal care industry since 2004. Jeff has volunteered on the committee for NYSCC Suppliers’ Day each year, starting in 2006, and was the Chairperson for the 2011 show. His years in the industry have afforded him the opportunity to work with rheology modifiers (specifically acrylic and AMPS-based technologies), surfactants (both traditional and sulfate-free), emulsifiers, preservatives and UV-inhibitors.

Tina Dame

Tina received a BS in Physics from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and has been with Lubrizol for 22 years. She has worked in the development of polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) and assisted in the development of acrylics and PUDs for various coatings markets. Most recently she has joined the Personal and Home Care group where she is the North American Technical Service and Applications Manager.

Monica Haltrecht

After 25 years on Lubrizol’s sales team calling on key accounts in the personal care and home care industry, Monica Haltrecht has taken on the role of Market Development Manager North America. She had 10 years industry experience prior to joining Lubrizol working in both sales and the lab. Visitors to Suppliers’ Day may recognize Monica as she has been a greeter at the event for many years and a volunteer on the NYSCC Suppliers’ Day committee for the past two years.

Timothy Roach

Global Strategic Marketing Manager for Bath & Shower Applications, Timothy Roach has been with Lubrizol for 6 years, and has served as product line manager for the Methyl Glucoside Derivatives as well as marketing manager for skin care applications prior to his current position. Timothy has a B.S. degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Duke University in Durham, NC, an M.S. in biochemistry from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Malte Ruffing

As the Global Strategic Marketing Manager for Hair Care, Malte directs the strategy development and implementation to drive profitable growth in Lubrizol's hair care ingredients business. Malte works closely with the R&D, product platform and sales teams around the world to lead innovative growth programs based on new products, formulated solutions and focused sales development. Since joining the Lubrizol personal care team in 1999, Malte has held a variety of sales, sales management and marketing positions of increasing responsibility. He holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany and an M.B.A. from the University of Bradford in the UK. He has studied and worked abroad in the U.S., South Africa, and Venezuela.

Jim Vetter

Account Manager Lubrizol Personal and Home Care, Jim Vetter has been with Lubrizol for 6 years. Jim has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Jim has 22 years of experience in the chemical industry, and he has held several business and technical positions during his career.
