This sunscreen lotion provides long-lasting UV protection. Both Avalure™ UR 450 Polymer and Pemulen® TR-2 Polymer deliver optimal water-resistant properties. Avobenzone, an UVA absorber, is included in this formulation. Schercemol™ 1688 Ester mitigates the oily feel of the various UV absorbers, while SilSense™ Copolyol-1 Silicone, a water soluble silicone, improves skin feel and detackifies the formulation. Carbopol® Ultrez 21 Polymer delivers easy, efficient thickening and emulsion stabilization with a smooth, non-tacky afterfeel. Promulgen™ D Emulsifier, a highly cost effective non-ionic emulsifier, acts as an emulsion stabilizer and viscosity builder.
