Inclusion of brown algae requires the use of a rheology modifier with a higher tolerance for electrolytes: Carbopol® ETD 2020 Polymer. The electrolyte tolerance is further enhanced by the addition of SilSense® Copolyol-7 Silicone, which also serves to improve spreading and decrease tack while providing conditioning to the product.
