Robert T. Graf is corporate vice president, research and development. He joined Lubrizol in 1985. In 2004, prior to assuming his current role, Dr. Graf was the division head of North American R&D and testing for Lubrizol. He also has held a variety of technical management roles throughout Lubrizol including a two-year assignment with GE-Lubrizol. In September 2008, Dr. Graf was elected corporate vice president, research and development.

Dr. Graf earned his doctorate and Master of Science degrees in macromolecular science and engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1985 and 1983 respectively, and his Bachelor of Science in polymer science from Pennsylvania State University in 1980. He serves on the advisory committees to Case Western Reserve University, the Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University and the University of Akron chemistry department. He also serves as a trustee of The Lubrizol Foundation.
