Eric R. Schnur is corporate vice president and president of Lubrizol Advanced Materials. He joined Lubrizol in 1987 as a co-operative education student while studying at Pennsylvania State University. He joined full time in 1989 as a development engineer in the R&D division. Mr. Schnur has held a variety of positions across numerous product lines within Lubrizol, including technical and commercial roles, product manager, global business manager, vice president and general manager. He has also worked at several company facilities, including the Lubrizol Additives site in Singapore, where he led engine oils marketing and technical services for Southeast Asia and Australia.  In September 2008, Mr. Schnur was elected corporate vice president and president of Lubrizol Advanced Materials.

Mr. Schnur earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1989 and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University in 1994.
