Tecophilic® TPU

Tecophilic® Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPUs) offer an aliphatic, hydrophilic polyether-based resin which has been specially formulated to absorb equilibrium water contents from 20 to 1000% of the weight of dry resin.

Three grades are available—extrusion, hydrogel and solution.

  • Extrusion grade formulations are designed to provide maximum physical properties of thermoformed tubing or other components.
  • Hydrogel grades are designed to offer maximum absorption of water.
  • Solution grade formulations are designed to provide greater solubility in organic solvents to prepare lacquers for coating applications.
