Grease Additives

Dedicated Grease Testing and Development

Taking grease technology to the limits…Expanding possibilities and efficiencies in grease manufacturing.

Standardized test specifications determine and verify important grease performance characteristics. These tests measure things like the resistance of grease to water spray, the corrosion preventive properties of grease and behavior of grease in different conditions, among other things. The table below is a compilation of the most often used tests.

Lubrizol has committed significant resources to dedicated grease testing labs to ensure that greases are in compliance with a full range of standards and protocols worldwide.
