Stat-Rite Inherently Static Dissipative Masterbatch Compounds

Masterbatch CompoundsIn late 2008 Lubrizol Conductive Polymers introduced Stat-Rite IDP Masterbatch Compounds in several base resins.  This provides our customers the opportunity to develop ESD performance in their existing materials by addition of the Stat-Rite IDP Masterbatch in levels of 10-30% loading to produce cost effective solutions for their existing applications.  Stat-Rite IDP Masterbatch compounds are fully compatibilized for providing effective processing in extrusion of sheet, profiles or injection molding processes.

Stat-Rite IDP Masterbatch compounds are available in the several base resins including PVC, a base resin Stat-Rite IDP compounds have never been available in before.

Stat-Rite Inherently Static Dissipative masterbatch compounds allow manufacturers the flexibility to incorporate static dissipative properties into their own materials and compounds, utilizing the cost saving benefits of combining application volumes on their base resin purchases. Current Stat-Rite Polymer resins are manufactured as a complete compound and can be more expensive, whereas the masterbatch is produced as a concentrate that can be added to the consumer's base resin.

The Stat-Rite masterbatchs are available for the following base resins:

• HIPS

• ABS

• Acrylic

• Polyethylene

• Polypropylene

• PVC
