Conductive Polymers

Injection Molding

Injection MoldingInjection molding is often the most efficient process for producing the ESD (electrostatic dissipative) protection components you need to control the problems caused by ESD damage.  Most Stat-Rite® Polymer Alloys and Carbo-Rite™ Carbon Alloy materials are available as injection molding compounds.  Stat-Rite Polymers inherently static dissipative masterbatchs allow you to produce a cost effective material utilizing your existing tooling and materials.

Stat-Rite Polymer injection moldng compounds are available in the following base resins:

• Polypropylene, Acrylic • Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)
• PETG • ABS
• Cyclic Polyolefin's •  Acetal

Stat-Rite IDP Masterbatch compounds are available in the following base resins:

•  Polyethylene •  Polypropylene
•  PVC •  Acrylic
•  ABS

Carbo-Rite Conductive Compounds provide a combination of base resins and conductive fillers to meet a wide range of temperature, mechanical properties and ESD performance range. Carbo-Rite Conductive Compounds are available with carbon powder, carbon fiber and multiwall carbon nano-tube fillers.

The following base resins are also available:

•  Polyethylene •  Polyesters (PBT or PET)
•  Polypropylene •  Acetal
•  Acylic •  PEEK
•  ABS •  Nylons
•  Polycarbonate •  Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPUs)
•  Polysulfones Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs)
