Paints, Coatings, and Adhesives
Packaging coatings are thermosetting coatings that are applied to metallic containers for food and beverages. Packaging coatings are applied, typically using spray or roller coat, to protect the exterior decoration on the can, interior linings and caps/closures during fabrication, filling and product shipping.
Lanco™ surface modifiers enhance the protection properties during the high speed manufacturing of metallic containers for food and beverages without affecting the appearance of the finish.
Many of our products are available to meet the stringent requirments for 21 CFR 175.300 (compliant coatings for direct food contact applications).
