The essential solution to create highly efficient glues. With Performax CB 6570, operations can cut starch usage and produce better bonding, even with difficult-to-glue papers. Effective with most production systems, Performax CB 6570 provides superior rheology control and glue stability, enabling faster production speeds, better board quality and reduced waste as well as energy savings through lower temperature and increased speed.
This family of multi-benefit products delivers the handling benefits of liquid borax and the performance benefits of Performax CB 6570 in one easy-to-use liquid product.
Freebor™ high performance products completely replace borates in all types of starch glues used in corrugated board. Production will still have the same operational ease and reliable bonding and tack, all in a system safe for food packaging. In addition, Freebor modifiers provide outstanding rheology control, resulting in efficient use of glue, shorter dry times, lower starch usage and better board quality.
This advancement in corrugated board technology significantly reduces the amount of starch used in production by eliminating the need for a primary starch. This technology can be used with native starches or less expensive alternatives, such as flour. Carrier System Technology offers robust rheology control, thereby eliminating viscosity changes over time. And because starch cooking isn’t required, glue preparation is completed in significantly less time, allowing for more effective and efficient kitchen operation. The product is ideally suited for plant using ready-mix today as investment in a traditional glue kitchen is no longer required.
