Lubrizol® Aqueous Coatings
Algan Inc. was founded in 1972 as a source of custom coatings and ink vehicles for the graphic arts market. In 1996, Lubrizol acquired Algan.
Effective February 18, 2013, Lubrizol discontinued the use of the Algan® brandname and replaced it with the Lubrizol® brand name. The brand name is the only change. The product number, formulation, ingredients, manufacturing location, manufacturing process, and the Lubrizol support team for aqueous overprint coatings remain unchanged.
Technical Data Sheets and Material Safety Data Sheets for our current line of aqueous graphic arts coatings are now listed under the Lubrizol® brand name on our website.
