Lubrizol in Asia Pacific
As you may know, Asia Pacific is one of the fastest-growing regions in the world. Lubrizol recognized this potential nearly 50 years ago when it started directly investing in Lubrizol Asia Pacific. And we haven’t stopped. Asia Pacific has clearly demonstrated its significance in the global economy, and Lubrizol has dollars in its investment pipeline to ensure that we’ll grow along with this accelerating economy and capitalize on its enormous development potential.
Lubrizol in Asia Pacific is defined by China on the north and New Zealand on the south, the Pacific Islands on the west, and the Middle East on the east. The area includes China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and India. Throughout the area, we employ hundreds of people in more than 25 Lubrizol facilities that include offices, plants, and laboratories. Lubrizol in India - South Asia
The Lubrizol in India - South Asia region is very important to Lubrizol and its employees because the region has great growth potential. One of the countries in South Asia is India. With its population of more than 1.1 billion, India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is increasing at rapid speed, adding new markets as well as new consumers.
In addition to India, the Lubrizol South Asia region includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, The Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Most Lubrizol employees here work for either Lubrizol Advanced Materials or the joint venture of Lubrizol Additives and the Govt. of India at Turbhe. Prospective Lubrizol employees are drawn by the increased job responsibilities, ability to grow personally and professionally, the global exposure and experience, and a market where many applications remain untapped. Lubrizol in Europe
The Lubrizol European region comprises 17 countries and thousands of Lubrizol employees. In fact, 25 percent of Lubrizol’s employees work in Europe. There are 35 Lubrizol facilities located within Europe, including production sites, sales offices, R&D resources, labs, and a European head office with shared services and support departments. Lubrizol Europe has some important R&D facilities – in the UK for instance. Additionally, some major Lubrizol customers have their headquarters here. And Lubrizol Europe can be considered one of the drivers for the green movement and all sustainability projects within Lubrizol.
In Europe we have a multi-cultural organization where employees can build up experience in different countries and cultures. Lubrizol in Latin America
Lubrizol in Latin America includes Brazil, México, and Venezuela where we have Lubrizol facilities and employ hundreds of people in five facilities, including a production plant in Belford Roxo, Brazil. Lubrizol also has sales representatives in other Latin America countries such as Argentina, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and Ecuador. This region’s strong economic performance in recent years has brought good job opportunities to the area. Helping drive economic growth is the fact that Brazil is part of the "BRIC," which is a grouping acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, and China. The BRICs are rapidly developing countries known to be at similar stages of advanced economic development.
Like the rest of the corporation, Lubrizol Latin America celebrates diversity and stimulates lifelong relationships among work colleagues. Lubrizol Latin America also promotes the welfare of its employees. Lubrizol in North America
Lubrizol was founded in Northeast Ohio (United States) in 1928. The company’s headquarters and key management team are still located here. When we say “North America” we essentially mean the United States and the thousands of employees who work in the US and a part of Canada. Since North America has the most employees of the five global regions, many development opportunities and need ideas are piloted here, with Lubrizol employees continuously exposed to new and exciting initiatives. Located throughout North America are 26 Lubrizol facilities that have varying degrees of manufacturing, sales, marketing, technical, and corporate responsibilities.
In addition, North America offers a vast array of places to live and enjoy life. Many of our locations are near major metropolitan areas, giving our employees a liberal exposure to world-class culture, arts, dining, sports, training, education, etc.
