Rich Mondragon: Building Relationships, Building Demand

When you ask Rich Mondragon about his success in the plumbing industry he can sum it up with one word—passion. With more than 37 years in the business, Rich goes above and beyond to provide extensive training and technical assistance to his customers—it’s this added support that cultivates the strong relationships that enhance customer service and increase sales, explains Mondragon. Whether it’s presenting new features, communicating benefits and advantages or delivering product education—Rich is there when his customers need him.

A self-proclaimed “people person,” Rich serves as the territory manager and piping systems consultant for the Rocky Mountain Region, where he drives demand for FlowGuard Gold® Pipe & Fittings, BlazeMaster® Fire Sprinkler Systems and Corzan® Piping Systems in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.

Prior to joining The Lubrizol Corporation, Rich’s professional experience included copper piping sales, providing firsthand insight into the advantages of using Lubrizol’s CPVC technology over copper and other metallic piping. In his free time, Rich enjoys traveling with his wife Kathy, fishing with his grandchildren, hiking, and playing golf. He is also an avid sports fan.
