The TempRite® LC (Low Combustibility) family of CPVC offers a total performance package: excellent processability, physical properties and aesthetics.

High impact resistance and rigidity make TempRite CPVC compounds ideal for components utilized in demanding applications, such as mass transit, because of these unique benefits:

  • Parts maintain dimensional stability at service temperatures well above those of typical flame-retardant thermoplastics.
  • Compounds exceed FAA regulations for OSU heat release and NBS smoke performance in aircraft interior applications established at 65/65; 220. They also conform to UMTA (Urban Mass Transit Administration) guidelines for materials used in mass transit vehicle interiors.
  • Compounds have excellent melt-flow properties for complex part design and easy processing on conventional equipment.

TempRite LC compounds are available in a sheet grade. Sheet goods offer deep-draw capability, texture retention, plus a variety of decorative options including painting, co-extrusion and decorative caps to expand design possibilities.
